Junior Olympic Program (JOP)
Our Junior Olympic Program is sanctioned by the Saskatchewan Archery Association and Federation of Canadian Archers Inc; this program is intended to develop youth archers from the ages of 8 to 21. This provincial program has approximately 1200 archers across the province!
The JOP runs from October through April, Monday and Wednesday evenings. Archers can start this program anytime, depending on availability. We instruct youth using their own equipment starting at 10 meters advancing to 15 meters on Wednesday nights and on up to 18 meters on Monday nights. Advancement in the program is based on a preset skill level grid. Each year the JOP youth are prepared and excited to compete in the following:
Provincial SAA JOP Championships
Provincial SAA Indoor Target Championships
Various other competitions
Our club asks all JOP parents to please complete the RESPECT in SPORT online course.
Note: We are currently at capacity for the 2019/2020 season. You can contact us if you have any questions about the program, or waiting list status.
